Gianni Russo — who claims he has killed people — showed his hot temper at a dinner in his honor at Fresco by Scotto when another guest interrupted him more than once with jokey asides.

The singer-actor, who started out as an errand boy for mobster Frank Costello, angrily shouted, “You think we’re doing an act here? Every time I say something, you say something? Get out. This is my night.”

Hosts Dick and Donna Soloway, and guests such as Tommy Tune, Rita Cosby and John and Margo Catsimatidis, were stunned to silence.

But then Russo smiled and calmly continued where he left off, and the table of 24 applauded. “That’s a great Joe Pesci,” said one guest, referring to the “You’re a funny guy” scene in “Goodfellas.”

Russo was celebrating the publication of his memoir[1], “Hollywood Godfather,” and announced that he and his co-writer Patrick Picciarelli are at work on a second volume.

“Actually, Gianni has about six books in him,” said Picciarelli.
