Could “Grist Mill Road”[1] be the next “Big Little Lies”[2]?

The hot new thriller, which hinges on a gruesome crime among three teenagers in the woods, is getting major Hollywood buzz[3].

On Monday and Tuesday, Selma Blair Instagrammed pics of herself[4] reading the “incredible” page-turner by Christopher J. Yates, and “Big Little Lies” developer for HBO Reese Witherspoon — who famously turns books into powerhouse productions — replied: “I want to read that book!!” Blair responded: “It is up your alley.”

Insiders say several Hollywood bigwigs are gunning to turn the book, published by Picador and repped by ICM, into a feature film or TV series.
