This month (April 2015) estranged AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd plead guilty in a New Zealand court to charges of threatening to murder a person and possession of cannabis and methamphetamine. All "highway to jail" jokes aside, this is pretty serious .... but also pretty funny!

Read more ...UPDATE: As originally reported in an update at the end of May 2015, Dustin Diamond had been found not guilty of a second-degree felony of recklessly endangering safety. He was however found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. Now at the end of June (2015) Diamond has been sentenced to serve 4 months in jail. He was also sentenced to 15 months' probation.

Read more ...UPDATE: Former California high school teachers Melody Lippert and Michelle Ghirelli have pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old student during their drug and sex filled party on the beach last January (2015.) Michelle Ghirelli also pleaded guilty to a felony count of furnishing a controlled substance. While neither of the women will face jail time, Lipper and Ghirelli will both be sentenced to three years probation. Lippert will also have to perform 15 days of community service while Ghirelli will serve 180 days in a lock-down rehab facility. The prosecution said that even though the women won't face jail time they will receive a much bigger punishment which is having their teaching credentials revoked for life in the state of California. The 21-year old hotel heir was spared jail by a judge in Los Angeles, despite calls from authorities to send him to prison. The accommodations may not match one of his family's penthouse suites, but it sure beats a bunk bed and a metal toilet.
