Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band
One of the founding members of the Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh will be jamming his heart out with his new group, The Terrapin Family Band, at the NorCal Cannabis Cup. Fans of jam bands and nostalgic tunes won’t want to miss this iconic performance.
Prolific musician (and native Californian) Phil Lesh formed The Terrapin Family Band with his son Grahame Lesh, family friend Alex Koford, and up-and-comers Jason Crosby and Ross James. The band’s music merges each musician’s influences—including rock, folk, punk, jazz, metal, psychedelic, experimental and classical—into a hard-rockin’ sound rooted in the communal, telepathic, exploratory spirit of the Grateful Dead.
Other confirmed acts for the NorCal Cannabis Cup are psychedelic-slash-blues-rock jam band Blues Traveler and alternative hip-hop group Arrested Development. It’s a smoking bill, with legend after legend taking the stage.
