LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Legalizing marijuana is a horrible idea

It's a bit nauseating to read the March 12 “Letter to the Editor” by Erica Dean pushing for legalizing marijuana. First, medical marijuana is marijuana. Regardless of prefixes, marijuana is a DRUG, an illegal drug too often leading to other, harsher drugs, a ticket to hard drugs. That's the reason it is illegal.
