Belchertown firefighters responding to Depot Street fire find marijuana grow operation

BELCHERTOWN - Firefighters responding to a reported structure fire on Depot Street Monday night uncovered what appears to be a marijuana growing operation, according to police. The resident of the first floor apartment at 39 Depot St.reportedly fled the scene in a van before firefighters arrived.
