A Wednesday hearing on the opioid crisis will examine whether Medicaid expansion has exacerbated the epidemic rather than helping to stem it. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will host a hearing titled, "Unintended Consequences: Medicaid and the Opioid Epidemic.
