“The Favourite,” with 10 Oscar nominations, is already British florist Jenny Tobin’s favorite.

After creating gardens, bouquets and arrangements for more than 60 films in 25 years, “I actually have a credit — on ‘The Favourite’ — for the first time ever!” she told New York-based writer Jill Brooke[1], who has a new site, FlowerPowerWithJill.com, the first daily floral news site.

“It’s terrible. We put weeks in of hard labor with thousands of pounds of flowers. Yet the grip’s mate, the painter’s mate, a set decorator’s assistant will get a credit, but not the set florist.”

To combat this injustice, Brooke is launching a #FloristsDeserveCredit campaign.

Besides “The Favourite,” Tobin’s films include Oscar winner “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and this year’s nominated “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
