Ware town manager apologizes for not telling selectmen they are being sued

WARE -- Selectmen said they would have preferred to have been told by the town manager, rather than reading in the newspaper, that they are defendants in a lawsuit related to a closed landfill. Town Manager Stuart Beckely apologized for not having informed the five-member board in a timely manner.
